As we approve the holiday season, we wanted to mention some of the great range features that can really help when you are cooking a big meal. These are also features to consider if you need a new range.

Double Ovens

Double ovens are fantastic when you are cooking a lot of food. They exist as separate wall-mounted units and also in ranges that are also cooktops. If you are preparing several courses of food, there is almost always an issue with oven space. Double ovens solve that problem.

Warming Drawer

A warming drawer does one thing, but it does it super well. It keeps food warm that is finished cooking but not served yet. If you don’t have a warming drawer then you are probably jockeying food around in and out of the oven or just covering it with foil and hoping that it stays warm. Warming drawers will revolutionize your cooking.

Air Frying

Lots of newer ovens and ranges come with air frying functionality. Air frying is a great way to prepare foods that taste like they’re deep fried but are prepared with much less oil. Try air frying for your finger foods or hors d’oeuvres.

Other

One other feature we want to mention is something that’s not part of the range, but goes with a range. If you are building or renovating, consider adding a water tap very close to your cooktop or range for filling large pots of water close to the stove. A pot filler tap saves you from carrying around large pots of water, and it makes your kitchen that much more efficient.

Not everyone cooks giant meals or serves many people in one sitting. But if you do, some of these features listed above will make your life so much easier.
